Planned and unplanned events can arise anywhere, at any time. Each incident is different; some you know in advance; some you know could happen one day and others are just impossible to predict. Therefore, the ability to prepare and react rapidly are key metrics of a successful response. This is the reason why the City of London Police (CoLP), City Security Council (CSC) and Zinc Systems have collaborated to deliver CityINTEL; an incident and communications platform installed within the CoLP Joint Command Control Room that acts as the central nervous system of data gathering and conduit of real-time incident communications between the CSC members and the CoLP.
Today, you will learn about why CityINTEL was formed, the technology behind the scenes, and the key benefits that will ultimately multiply the ‘eyes and ears’ of security and significantly improve the security posture of our beautiful City.
