Our speaker is Simon Ancliffe who is an Executive Director of Movement Strategies.
CPNI has undertaken research into real-life terrorist incidents, live simulations of different attack types (the ‘Ascend’ programme) over the last 6 years, and surveys of existing Command and Control capabilities at key locations.
The conclusions from this research have been used to develop guidance and new immersive training courses so that organisations can respond to terrorist incidents as effectively as possible and save lives. This session will describe the background and need for the research, introduces key elements of the guidance, and provides an overview of the new courses.
